MSGT. DANIEL DONNELLY, U.S Air Force

Retired Daniel J. Donnelly, 87, of Henderson, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017. He was born Aug. 26, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has resided in southern Nevada since 1971. Dan, a veteran with 25 years of service in the U.S. Air Force served honorably in both the Korean and Vietnam wars.  He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a retired teacher from the Pahrump Valley School system. Dan was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan, in 2007. Dan is survived by his second wife, Elsie; four children, Dennis, Russell, Joseph and Kathleen Donnelly; and three grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 2, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. He will be laid to rest with honors at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
